Who would have thought a snow filled parking lot in Boise, ID would be the place where one would look to find their one true love…..certainly NOT Elizabeth Stein. And it’s safe to say “true love” was NOT what Alex had on his mind when he approached Elizabeth on February 19, 2021 to introduce himself as the neighbor next door. In spite of being repeatedly told that he “was not her type”, over the next year and a half, Alex continued to pursue Elizabeth in subtle & not so subtle ways. It was only when he bought a house and moved -4 miles away from the parking lot where they first met, that Elizabeth realized she had feelings for the man she once believed to be the leader of the local militia. Fast forward to the 2023 hunting season in New Meadows, ID- Alex proposed to Elizabeth; a complete surprise, to say the least. From parking lots to hunting camps, this relationship has gone full circle, with many twists and turns along the way. Suffice to say the couple looks forward to many more adventures off the beaten path….and as long as they’re together, they welcome the ride.
